Tips and Tricks on spotting a Real Ralph Lauren tee from a fake

Here are a few tips and tricks to guide you from spotting an original Ralph Lauren from a fake.

How do you tell the difference between a fake and an original Ralph Lauren tee shirt?
1)Pony Logo-a fake Ralph Lauren, will not be so detailed and you can see that the color thread tailored for the logo will be mixed up with one or more colour. For a multi coloured pony logo, the authentic ralph lauren will have a dark brown colour instead of a light brown color.

2)Side Steam Stitches- An authentic Ralph Lauren shirt should have a fine neat single sided seam stitches whereas a fake one will have double sided seam stitches.

3)Button-An authentic Ralph Lauren will have a thick button and they will have slight pearl color that is almost yellowish as opposed to a clear button on a fake.

4)Collar- A fake polo tee will have a sluggish sleeves hem and a thick collar.

5)Fabric- The most important thing about the shirt is that an authentic shirt has very flawless fabric that is easier to iron on, whereas a fake will have "fur-looking extras" and it is very hard to be ironed on.

6)Upper collar button hole- An authentic will have an special upper collar button hole, where as a fake will rarely have one.
